A collaborative effort of Midwestern land grant institutions and the Canadian province of Ontario to promote and educate farmers on the use of cover crops. My duties include: Missouri representative to the MCCC, member of the executive board, provide input in educational materials, host cover crop conferences.Areas of work for this program includes: building relationships with producers, refine trial protocols, plot layout, data collection, in-season scouting, yield data collection and data transfer.Work is primarily working with crop producers on a individual basis to collect yield data, guidance systems and operation, data transfer and analysis, and equipment selection.
