The various generations such as veterans, baby boomer’s, xer’s and the nexter’s are examined in this course. The characteristics of these generations make them unique. Guided discussion of each generation will develop an understanding of why they react to situations the way they do. By identifying these characteristics, working relationships will be developed and improved because of an understanding of why generations are different. The course will include activities designed to help students understand generational characteristics and use appropriate strategies for a particular generation.
